FSOG and Football

Well said! And I’m a FSOF lover and also a Football lover…

The Random Tammie

Since the release of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, there has been another backlash of Fifty Shades hating going on. And I’ve noticed a handful of my fellow Fifty fans are being lashed out at. It really makes me disheartened.

Let me state before I go any further, that I’m all for people being able to voice their opinions, no matter what they are about. But I don’t look to fondly at those who will attack another because of their love for something they personally do not like. That’s just rude. Healthy debate is fine. But attacks are not.

With that said, I’m going to voice my opinion about some of the issues that some/most haters have mentioned. And I’m going to use football as a counter-example for some things. Please note that this is NOT an attack on people who like football. I’m just using it because football is considered…

An open letter to EL James

Here is a letter writen by my beautiful friend Monique Lain. To support our lovely E.L James.

fifty shades of grey and more

So, ever since one of my long standing readers (thank you #OfficeLadyProbz) mentioned that Erika was taking a hammering on Twitter, amongst other places, and that we should “rally around our girl”, I’ve been wondering about what to do. How would I feel, I asked myself, if I was in her shoes; this totally contradictory world of points of view, all of them clashing around me, all about a fictional story I wrote? I bet EL James NEVER expected things to get so big, so fast, and with it the sad criticism of a story that has so much more to offer than the broken, uncertain man and his proclivities, the demons that tormented him into the action he took. Perhaps she’s developed a thick skin, impervious to the FSOG storm raging outside our happy Christian bubble, but I felt that, at the very least, a show of support would…

Fifty Shades of Grey -The Movie

So before I start let me tell you that I feel that the people criticizing the movie are people who haven’t read the books. There’s a lot of them saying that is abusive and promotes violence. I defend it because 1st, everything is consensual, 2nd you can see that Anastasia is a strong, powerful girl that is exploring her sexuality according what she wants.

On the other hand, many people were expecting a porn movie full of sex, but we all know that beyond the sex parts there is a love story, a very complicated but beautiful love story. I watched the movie twice.

I was super excited the 1st time I went to watch the movie, I ran from my work to the cinema, got in line and waited for another hour until they let us in. When they are letting us in they asked for our I.D (weird, 1st time that ever hapend to me). Ok so we got in, went to our seats, I was out o my body with excitement, then the movie start.

1st I’m going to start with the missing parts. In the interview scene, we start to see who funny Ana is, but for me it missed the comment about the painting ‘raising the ordinary to the extraordinary’ I don’t know if have to do with authors rights or something but for me that is key, because I feel is the 1st time Christian pays attention to Ana. I missed the scene after he gave her the first spanks when he comes back and stays with her, and he has the argument with Kate. And the other when they go to have dinner with his parents and he spank her and get all jealous because Kate’s comments about Jose and Ana going to Georgia. Another important aspect missing was the time when she goes to her internship interviews, cause that is key to the beginning of 2nd book. I mean I know that they couldn’t put every page on screen. But those are just few scenes

My 1st impression was Wow Annie singing ‘I put spell on you’ was magical and beautiful. I couldn’t help to say the dialogues while the movie went through, that happen when you read the books so many times (six times for me). I loved who funny Ana was. I felt butterflies like when I read the book when she call him from the bar. The scene when she is eating the toast and they are in the hotel after that night and he bites the toast was like Oh God! Sexy. And I felt butterflies when Christian arranged “the situation” with Ana, is very intimate and beautiful.

Dakota impressed me a lot! I liked her from the beginning but she is really talented and charismatic and made me laugh a lot. I think she ate Jamie performance a little bit, I miss the mood changes in him, the posesivines, the jealousy, the explosion and fury in some scenes. I loved the sex scenes, they were sexy, erotics, delicates, tasteful, and the music in each scene was perfect.

The most powerful scene for me was the last one in the playroom. Dakota performance was amazing. I almost cried like when I read the book. Dakota was intense and magnificent.

On my second time watching the movie…. I sat and really really enjoyed it! I was excited to see Dakota once again, I think she nailed it! Lol… And this time I could put more attention to Jamie. He is really Christian, dominating, supreme, calculator, intense. His eyes, Oh My God, his eyes are everything, he let us know all his feelings by looking at his eyes. And Dakota, well she is a goddess and really talented. I really loved the second time watching it.

loved the movie, I think Sam directing the movie, a really great job synchronizing the lighting in every scene, in every scenery, she was brilliant. Is a very delicate movie, very sexy, sensual and also very funny. Erika, Dana and Michael did an awesome job producing it, they took care of every detail. I loved the playroom, for me everything in it was perfect an as I imagined it. The music, every song was played in the right scene, it was intense and powerful.

I just can say a shouty THANK YOU in capitals letters, thank you for giving us this movie!

YOU. ARE. MORE!

THANK YOU!

“Fifty Shades of Grey” Trilogy by E.L James

I’ve read the story six times, but I hadn’t done a review until now.

Fifty-Shades-Reading-Adventures.JPEG-0fae0
Fifty Shades of Grey was the first book of romance/erotic literature that I read, Christian Grey was my first literature crush, I felt in love with all of him, how sensitive he is, I felt for his love for Anastasia, he didn’t care about anything, is really good to read his conflict when he was battling emotions and feelings, he so jealous, overprotective, that and many more things I loved and love about hum. Anastasia is so innocent, she has no experience, but she is strong, decisive, she is curious of Christian’s life style and what he is really feeling, she doesn’t let over shadow for this incredibly handsome and powerful man, she faces him and establish her terms and conditions.

People had criticize the story, telling that is porn or that promote violence against women. However for me, just like for many women around the word that had read the books, It’s been a journey in this amazing love story that has kinky and intense fuckery. We read about BDSM but with consent for both parts, Ana does what she wants. Let me ask you something ¿Who has ever been spanked while you are having sex? Right, see? But that’s not violent or abusive, instead is sexy and turns us on, they are many forms to play and that helps our sex life. As E.L James would said “is passionate love story that happens to have lots of sex”

Erika wrote a story that caught up millions of women (and some men), the best of this is now we can see the story come to life on movie theaters, and we can put faces to our imagination, the last reading that I did on the books was with Dakota and Jamie in my mind as Anastasia and Christian.

Is an amazing trilogy, in Fifty Shades of Grey I felt in love with the story and characters, in Fifty Shades Darker this love gets intense, this is my favorite book of the trilogy because we see an Ana that takes Christian to his limits and we can see how strong she is, she have this power of important decisions and in Fifty Shades Freed is has a sense of freedom and liberation, there are moments of impact, action and lot of love.

I get enough of reading these books, I have the same feeling like the first time I read them, I feel butterflies and cute things everywhere and I fall in love with the story and each one of the characters.
