Bend Anthology. #6 Worth by Shay Savage
Worth is the 6th short story on the Bend Anthology, that include other great authors.
Worth impressed me in the good way at first, I mean, a story who take place in the mid century you know. Lucius/Faustus/Tribunus is a caveman, he is so rough and his words are so male chauvinist. is another age, so I understand the vocabulary but I really didn’t like the whole slave thing, I guess is because the feminist girl in me.
I was like Wow with the head job, so explicit for that age of time, Lol… On the other hand I didn’t like Aia that much, she is too submissive for my taste, well she was a slave so it was her place but I like the female characters to be more a little bit stronger and feminist .

Another one…
And the Synopsis
An injured Roman Tribunus finds comfort in the touch of the slave commanded to tend to his wounds. As a slave, her value is measured as a couple of coins, but as Tribunus Faustus learns more about her, he begins to understand her true worth.
Still, a man of his station can never acknowledge feelings for a slave, and she is already owned by another man.
