Sidebarred (The Legal Briefs #3.5) by Emma Chase

I absolutely loved this novella! It was a beautiful way to follow up the main story’s epilogue. It was lovely, of the Legal Briefs Series Jake was my favorite character, he is charming, and handsome, and so in love with Chelsea, that everything he does is for the love of her. And those six kids, I mean they are the joy of the story. They complement the story in a beautiful way. I also loved the extra scene from Kennedy and Brant it was lovely to read how Kennedy helped Brant to get over his fears! Thank you Emma for this lovely gift. It was wonderful to read!

3.5.- SidebarredSidebarred (The Legal Briefs #3.5) by Emma Chase
There was a time when Jake Becker had it all together. He was controlled, driven, ruthless—in and out of the courtroom.
Then, six irresistible orphans and their heartbreakingly beautiful aunt crashed into his perfectly ordered life. They changed everything. They changed him. Now he’s a husband, an upstanding member of society, a father figure—a family man. And he’s pretty damn good at it.
Sure, he has to referee sibling smackdowns, re-learn algebra, ensure his clients stay of jail, and keep his wife happy—but it finally feels like he’s got it together again….
So, of course something has to screw it all up. It’s huge. Life-changing. Kind of terrifying.
And it will be the most amazing, perfect thing he’ll ever do.

Appealed (The Legal Briefs #3) by Emma Chase

I easily can describe this book as: a lovely story, funny and romantic. About Brent I can say he is sarcastic, charismatic. self-centered and wayyyy too narcissist. Kennedy is fierce, stunning and is a girl with a lot of attitude and personality. My favorite part of the book was the epilogue, wow! I loved it! It was beautiful the way it all ended. I loved the book, the capacity of Emma to write from a guy’s POV is f’ing brilliant!

3.- AppealedAppealed by (The Legal Briefs #3) by Emma Chase

When Brent Mason looks at Kennedy Randolph, he doesn’t see the awkward, sweet girl who grew up next door. He sees a self-assured, stunning woman…who wants to crush the most intimate – and prized – parts of his anatomy beneath the heels of her Christian Louboutins.
Brent has never let the loss of his leg in a childhood accident affect his ability to lead a fulfilling life. He sets high goals–and then he reaches them.
And now he has his sights set on Kennedy.
**
When Kennedy looks at Brent Mason, all she sees is the selfish, Abercrombie & Fitch catalogue-worthy teenager who humiliated her in high school to join the popular crowd. A crowd that made those years a living hell.
She’s not a lovesick social outcast anymore – she’s a DC prosecutor with a long winning streak behind her. Brent is the opposing attorney in her next case and she thinks it’s time to put him through a little hell of his own.
But things aren’t exactly working out that way.
Because every fiery exchange has her wondering if he’s as passionate in the bedroom as he is in the courtroom. Each argument and objection only makes him want her more. In the end, Brent and Kennedy may just find themselves in love…or in contempt of court.

Sustained (The Legal Briefs #2) by Emma Chase

To tell you that I f’ing loved this book is to say the least. I mean, I laughed, sighed, cried, and enjoyed every page of the book. It was just PERFECT!. Emma this is a diamond, this was pure and fantastic well written. I loved every character, each one well described with their own personality, it really was a bliss to read. I loved Jake, I loved how well he got to fit into Chelsea’s madness, and those kids, they were cute, funny and crazy chaotic at the same time. LOVED IT!

2.- SustainedSustained (The Legal Briefs #2) by Emma Chase

A knight in tarnished armor is still a knight.
When you’re a defense attorney in Washington, DC, you see firsthand how hard life can be, and that sometimes the only way to survive is to be harder. I, Jake Becker, have a reputation for being cold, callous, and intimidating—and that suits me just fine. In fact, it’s necessary when I’m breaking down a witness on the stand.
Complications don’t work for me—I’m a “need-to-know” type of man. If you’re my client, tell me the basic facts. If you’re my date, stick to what will turn you on. I’m not a therapist or Prince Charming—and I don’t pretend to be.
Then Chelsea McQuaid and her six orphaned nieces and nephews came along and complicated the ever-loving hell out of my life. Now I’m going to Mommy & Me classes, One Direction concerts, the emergency room, and arguing cases in the principal’s office.
Chelsea’s too sweet, too innocent, and too gorgeous for her own good. She tries to be tough, but she’s not. She needs someone to help her, defend her…and the kids.
And that — that, I know how to do.

Overrulled (The Legal Briefs #1) by Emma Chase

Awww I loved it! This book was sweet, and charming, and hot, and sexy when it had to be. Stanton is charming, focused, successful, selfish and a player. Sofía is a lot like me, an independent woman who has success in a men’s world. Not an easy thing to do, she is strong, but sensitive at the same time. She wants to help Staton but she also wants to strangle him. They complement each other. Drew’s cameo was awesome, I love it too!!!

1.- OverrulledOverrulled (The Legal Briefs #1) by Emma Chase

As a DC defense attorney, Stanton Shaw keeps his head cool, his questions sharp, and his arguments irrefutable. They don’t call him the Jury Charmer for nothing – with his southern drawl, disarming smile and captivating green eyes – he’s a hard man to say no to. Men want to be him and women want to be thoroughly cross examined by him.
Stanton’s a man with a plan. And for a while, life was going according to that plan.
Until the day he receives an invitation to the wedding of his high school sweetheart and mother of his beloved ten-year old daughter. Jenny is getting married — to someone who isn’t him.
That’s definitely not part of the plan.
***
Sofia Santos is a city raised, no-nonsense litigator who plans to become the most revered criminal defense attorney in the country. She doesn’t have time for relationships or distractions.
But when Stanton, her “friend with mind-blowing benefits” begs for help, she finds herself out of her element, out of her depth, and obviously out of her mind. Because she agrees to go with him – to The-Middle-Of-Nowhere, Mississippi – to do all she can to help Stanton win back the woman he loves.
Her head tells her she’s crazy…and her heart says something else entirely.
***
What happens when you mix a one stop-light town, two professional arguers, a homecoming queen, four big brothers, some Jimmy Dean sausage and a gun-toting Nana?
The Bourbon flows, passions rise and even the best laid plans get overruled by the desires of the heart.

“Tied” by Emma Chase

Funny, truthful, realistic, and charming with Drew’s POV…. true love between that beautiful couple, and even more cute with baby James’ addition in their wonderful equation, this little guy seems to be adorable. They fit perfectly together.

Emma wrote a wonderful story, I loved every book of the series, read how DREW become this wonderful man, growing into a healthy, funny and crazy relationship with Kate that is a incredible woman, who knows who she is and she wants. with other great characters like Mackenzie, who is adorable, and the Bitch, Dee, Steven, and of course Billy Warren who was a pain in the ass to Drew.

Synopsis

tied-cover

Tied (Tangled #4) by Emma Chase

In the fourth sexy romance by the New York Times bestselling author of Tangled and Twisted, Drew and Kate can’t wait to tie the knot—if they can survive the pre-wedding festivities.
For most of my life, I never imagined I’d get married. But Kate did the impossible: she changed me. I think we can all agree I was pretty frigging awesome before, but now I’m even better.
The road to this day wasn’t all rainbows and boners. There were mistakes and misunderstandings worthy of a Greek tragedy. But Kate and I made it through with our inexhaustible lust, boundless admiration, and everlasting love for one another intact.
That being said, there were some unexpected incidents in Vegas last weekend that could have been a problem. It was kind of… my final test.
I know what you’re thinking—what the hell did you do this time? Relax. Let’s not judge, or call for my castration, until you’ve heard the whole story.
And hold on tight, because you’re in for a wild ride. Did you expect anything less?

“Tamed” by Emma Chase

If you have read Drew and Kate’s story, you probably know Matthew and Dee, and already maybe figure it out how it ends… But not, Emma just wrote theirs’ story and is sassy, funny, sexy and hilarious.

Matthew seems more mature and sensitive than Drew, and since he saw Dee for the first time he went after her. Dee was a little unsecure sometimes and that drove me crazy! A scene that stock with me was when they were having “fun” while listening “Demons” by Imagine Dragons, believe me I don’t listen that song in the same way anymore.

Synopsis

TAmed

Tamed (Tangled #3) by Emma Chase

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: girl meets player, they fall in love, player changes his ways.
It’s a good story. But it’s not our story. Ours is a lot more colorful.
When I met Dee I knew right away that she was special. When she met me, she thought I was anything but special—I was exactly like every other guy who’d screwed her over and let her down. It took some time to convince her otherwise, but turns out I can make a convincing argument when sex is at stake.
You might know where this story’s headed. But the best part isn’t where we ended up.
It’s how we got there.
TAMED goes back in time to the Tangled days. But this time around, it’s not Drew dishing out the advice and opinions—it’s his best friend Matthew, who of course is dealing with Dee Dee

“Twisted” by Emma Chase

Ok if I loved Drew’s POV I think I loved even more Kate’s, Emma Chase present us this characters so fresh, so natural, so real that I simply love them. I couldn’t stop reading once I started, for real, my work didn’t matter, is so exquisite reading and most of all an awesome writing that I just couldn’t put this book down, till I finished it. It caught you and keeps you interested.
I love their love story, I love that Emma paint them in the real world. That they have troubles but as many of us, they work them out. The best part and I told you before is there are more of these two. More book for them so thank you Emma Chase you made my day ^^

Synopsis

twisted

“Twisted” (Tangled #2) by Emma Chase

There are two kinds of people in the world. The ones who look first, and the ones who leap. I’ve always been more of a looker. Cautious. A planner. That changed after I met Drew Evans. He was so persistent. So sure of himself – and of me.
But not all love stories end happily ever after. Did you think Drew and I were going to ride off into the sunset? Join the club. Now I have to make a choice, the most important of my life. Drew already made his –in fact, he tried to decide for the both of us. But you know that’s just not my style. So I came back to Greenville. Alone. Well, sort of alone….
What I’ve come to realize is that old habits die hard and sometimes you have to go back to where you began, before you can move ahead.
TWISTED picks up two years after Tangled’s end, and is told from Kate’s POV.

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

“Tangled” by Emma Chase

The most I loved about the book was the POV by a guy, not just that, Drew is sincere, honest and direct, he always tells you the f’ing true about how guys think. I love that the ultimate player become a pussy whipped, Lol!- I know for experience that a guy can really change and fall in love –

I love Kate, she is an independent women, she has her own mind, she is strong, the only bad thing about her is her douchebag of a boyfriend, everything cannot be right huh? But is like that when you come from a small town far away from big cities, is normal, is all you see every day, the same people, but when you get out to the big world is a whole new experience. And the most that I loved from Tangled is that is a series and there are more books to know the story of these two love bugs. I love, love, love Tangled. End off!

Synopsis

tangled-new-659x1024Tangled (Tangle#1) by Emma Chase

Drew Evans is a winner. Handsome and arrogant, he makes multimillion dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. He has loyal friends and an indulgent family. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed?
He’ll tell you he has the flu.
But we all know that’s not really true.
Katherine Brooks is brilliant, beautiful and ambitious. She refuses to let anything – or anyone – derail her path to success. When Kate is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.
Then, just when Drew is on the cusp of having everything he wants, his overblown confidence threatens to ruin it all. Will he be able untangle his feelings of lust and tenderness, frustration and fulfillment? Will he rise to the most important challenge of his life?
Can Drew Evans win at love?
Tangled is not your mother’s romance novel. It is an outrageous, passionate, witty narrative about a man who knows a lot about women…just not as much as he thinks he knows. As he tells his story, Drew learns the one thing he never wanted in life, is the only thing he can’t live without.

I really enjoyed this book, it was fun, and sexy and smart. I hope you like it too.
