Ok, first of all I want to warn everyone who hasn’t watched the movie yet: get away from this post NOW!!! I’ll be posting stuff related to the movie and certain scenes. I gave some time for those who haven’t watched the movie before I post my review.

cover-copy
Ok. OMG OMG OMG!!! Wow!!!! I cried, I laugh, I lived that movie, and I enjoyed every part of it. I mean it was magical, beautiful, with tons of romance and much sexier than the firts one. Off course that many would say that the movie didn’t stick to the book, but any movie doesn’t always stick to the books, is much less time so they have to adapt for it. So let’s get started:

1. Dakota: She is a Q U E E N! She is perfect to play Anastasia, and it shows it once again in this movie, she is funny, and sexy, and she was so into character that gave life and was so true to the Ana I read in the books. She is strong and puts Christian at her feet.

2. Jamie: Wow! Isn’t he hotter and ripped on this movie? Wow, just sexy, he was more into Christian’s character, I mean, those eyes and that susceptibility and honesty reflect in them was beautiful, he is more romantic, and he laughs a lot, that smile is just beautiful and huge. I was dying to watch the submissive Christian and he was so perfect. I even cried in that scene, the vulnerability show in him was pure. He was perfect!

3. The chemistry between Jamie and Dakota was just GREAT! This time with more steamy and sexiest scenes. They definitely has to be more friends and it shows that they were comfortable playing their roles and in sync with a lot of trust.

4. Kim Basinger as Elena was perfect; I hated her like in the books.

5. I think it was a good hit on Niall Leonard doing the screenplay, cause who better than Erika’s husband to know these characters? Yes, great adaptation.

6. James Foley was a perfect director, you can see it in every scene, with who every character played their part, you can see that he got the story, he understood his role in it, every detail well taking care off.

7. The music was perfect, every scene filled with the right song, the beats at the perfect moments, it was a great complement to the story.

8. The balls, wow… even better than I imagine.

9. The spread bar, oh *sighs* Wow, just too sexy.

10. The return to the Red Room Of Pain was just too much, too perfect, too sexy, too hot. Perfection!

11. I felt the anguish and nerves when Charlie Tango crashed, my heart just was so small.

12. The mix of some scenes was good, is easier to understand for those who have read the books and know the little details, however I missed important scenes like:
a. When Flynn competes with Christian to win the auction at the masquerade ball. And Ana dancing with Carrick Grey.
b. After Leila destroys Ana’s car, they supposed to go to the hotel, and Ana gets to be Mrs. Taylor for the night, but instead they went straight to The Grace, is was nice but I’d love to see that exchange between Ana and Taylor and Christian’s jealousy.
c. I’m still wondering: Is Ethan going to appear in any of the movies? I mean, I was expecting Ana going for drinks with him after Dominant Christian came into action with Leila, but no, no sign of him just yet.
d. And finally, I missed Kate’s interrogation to Ana, about the kind of relationship she has with Christian just when they arrive to Christian’s bday party.

13.- It had that sense of thriller, a really dark side, more intense with Leila and Jack behind Ana and Christian.

14.- The glimpse to Fifty Shades Darker was so f’ing awesome. I can’t believe we have to wait another year to it.

I just really LOVED the movie; I was so amped after I got out of the theatre, with a huge smile on my face, and my heart beating so fast. Thank you E.L James, for writing such a lovely story, thank you James Foley for the incredible direction, Thank you Niall for the perfect screenplay, and thanks you to those amazing actors and actresses who gave life to these characters that we love so much.

Thank you for reading.

What a lovely story, full of adventures, an interesting plot. Well written. I really enjoyed my reading, and this good duo of authors, Vi and P did a great job. I loved Carter since the beginning even when he was such a womanizer, he is authentic, charming and really funny but beyond that he is a great guy who cares for others and that is sexy as hell. As for Kendall she was a strong female character, very focus and center despite of her wealth. I loved this couple, loved the story and off course that beautiful end.

playoboypilotPlayboy Pilot by Penelope ward and Vi Keeland

Money or love? Which would you choose?
You probably just answered the question in your head thinking it’s an easy decision.
For me, it’s not. Did I mention it’s a lot of money? A hell of a lot.
I needed to go far away to think it through.
As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated conversation.
Then, he left.
I thought I’d never see him again.
But fate had other plans.
Surprise! He was the pilot of my flight.
The bigger surprise was the adventure that followed after the plane landed.
Carter was dangerous and always on the move.
Even though our connection was magnetic, I knew it was only temporary.
He would give me tickets, and I would follow him around the world to exotic places.
A bevy of flight attendant exes and rumors about Carter’s reputation were never far behind.
I didn’t know what to believe.
But I was addicted. Nothing else mattered anymore. And I was going to get hurt. Because a part of me wanted to be the one to finally ground the playboy pilot.
At the very least, he was taking me on a thrilling ride.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming

I really enjoyed this fantastic duo of authors working together. For more info about their projects and books you can visit them on:

OMG I loved this book!!! I mean put me dogs and a beautiful story and I’m all in. What a lovely book, was perfect in every way, well written, great characters, a wonderful and sweet, heartfelt story, it was just such a great read. I loved Maddie’s character, she is unique, and strong, and so true to her believes that I adored her even more for her love to animals. And Jake, was lovely, sweet, and seemed so real. I felt this story, every word, every scene, the love and the heartbreak, the joy and the sadness and that my friends say a lot about the author! Thank you Nichole for such a lovely book. I’m sure this was the 1st of many I’ll read from you.

bedmatesBedmates (American Royalty #1)

Everyone makes mistakes, especially in college. But when you’re the daughter of the President of the United States, any little slip up is a huge embarrassment. Maddie McGuire’s latest error in judgment lands her in police custody, giving the press a field day. Agreeing to do community service as penance and to restore her tattered reputation, Maddie never dreams incredibly good looking but extremely annoying vice president’s son, Jake Simmon, will be along for the ride.
Recently returning from Afghanistan with a life-altering injury, Jake is wrestling with his own demons. He doesn’t have the time or patience to deal with the likes of Maddie. They’re like oil and water and every time they’re together, it’s combustible. But there’s a thin line between love and hate, and it’s not long before their fiery arguments give way to infinitely sexier encounters.
When Jake receives devastating news about the last remaining member of his unit, the darkness he’s resisted for so long begins to overwhelm him. Scared to let anyone close, he pushes Maddie away. But she isn’t about to give up on Jake that easily. Maddie’s fallen for him, and she’ll do anything to keep him from the edge as they both discover that love is a battlefield and there are some fights you just can’t lose.

This couple just gets more and greater with every book. Their bond seems to be unbreakable and their love, devotion and trust just to keep growing. It was perfect, and hot, and so Jonathan and Monica. Loved it!

He was the dream I never knew I had until he claimed me. The kinky billionaire who wanted to give pain as much as I wanted to receive it. He’d marked me as his own and I accepted him. I trust him completely. I swear I do.
But, now things are getting complicated. I have a career, and he has his claim. How far is he going to go to mark me? And am I going to run or stay?

First of all I’m going to say that I was apprehensive of reading this book after the One Night’s debacle, I LOVE Jodi (Yes, in shouty capitals!) and also love her writing but Miller, just didn’t do it for me. I mean, after Jesse Ward, what can you expect?

I enjoyed this book a lot, since the beginning, it was a pleasant reading. I loved it! I really liked the story. I cried a little at the end, but happy tears, that was a sweet and cute end. I felt in love with Jake as I never thought it would be possible with one of JEM characters again, I mean, as I said, what can you expect after Jesse Ward, right? – Well, for me the answer was a handsome shadow, a hot/raw/alpha PROTECTOR with a killing instinct to have under his care his most precious possession: Camille, a true fighter, a strong woman, who has a really crazy arsehole for dad. I liked how during the reading you get to see how Camille is helping him to open to the light again, and I really didn’t expect that twist at the end, the true behind the photograph and his omission of the truth. Just Wow!

Thank you Jodi, for making me fall in love with another of your characters once again. I really never thought that would be possible after Jesse.

theprotectorThe Protector by Jodi Ellen Malpas

People think they have Camille Logan nailed: daddy’s girl; beautiful, spoiled young woman with her father’s bank balance to fund her lifestyle. But Camille is determined to have a life free from his strings. Out on her own, she’s made mistakes, including one that found her clawing her way back after a stint in rehab and plenty of bad press. Now, after fighting so hard to be independent and happy, she finds her life threatened as a result of her father’s ruthless business dealings. Caught between resentment and fear, Camille prepares herself for the measures her father will take to protect her. But nothing could prepare her for the ex-SAS sniper who crashes into her life.

Jake Sharp resides in his own personal hell. He was distracted from duty once before, and the consequences were devastating–both personally and professionally. He vowed never to let that happen again. Accepting the job of bodyguard to Camille Logan isn’t the kind of distraction from his demons he should take. Women and Jake don’t mix well, yet protecting the heiress seems the lesser of two evils. But Jake soon discovers that she isn’t the woman she’s perceived to be. She’s warm, compassionate, her presence settling, and his duty to protect her soon goes deeper than a well-paid job, no matter how hard he fights it. He needs absolution. He comes to need Camille. But he knows he can’t have both.

I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did. For more info about Jodi and her upcoming plans and projects:

Moonshot by Alessandra Torre

OMG! Alessandra Torre keeps surprising me with every book. When you think you know what is coming, she has an exquisite way to change your perception in a way that the twists in the story end up being incredible.

Wow! This book is sweet, and fresh, and so innocent in many parts. I loved Ty and Chase’s story, it was beautiful. And as always you never know what to expect with Ale and her books, but you end with a huge smile on your face. I loved it, even when I don’t like much baseball. But the story just catches you.

moonshotMoonshot by Alessandra Torre

Baseball isn’t supposed to be a game of life and death…

The summer that Chase Stern entered my life, I was seventeen. The daughter of a legend, the Yankees were my family, their stadium my home, their dugout my workplace. My focus was on the game. Chase… he started out as a distraction. A distraction with sex appeal poured into every inch of his six foot frame. A distraction who played like a god and partied like a devil.

I tried to stay away. I couldn’t.

Then, the team started losing.
Women started dying.
And everything in my world broke apart.

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

The excitement is incredible, I know!

Yesterday I was so crazy about the trailer that I completely forgot to post it, but here’s what we all have being waiting for. Trailer #1 “I want you back”:

For me, so far only seeing the trailer I can say that this film adaptation is more like the book, first the director is none other than James Foley, director of the hit series House of Cards, the screenplay adaptation was made by Nial made Leonard, Erika’s husband, who better person that the one, who was with her at all times while she was writing this story? And once again produced by Dana Brunetti, Michael De Luca, Marcus Viscidi and Erika herself. Coincidentally at this moment I am reading the trilogy for the 8th time, and I’am in the part of Fifty Shades Darkest when Ana arrives at her apartment and is Leila waiting for her, so I have fresh memory. This trailer has everything:

  1. The masked ball and Ana’s mask Wow! Simply beautiful!
  2. José’s photo exhibition.
  3. When Ana and Christian are in his childhood bedroom.
  4. Christian’s marriage proposal to Ana.
  5. Sailing on The Grace
  6. Leila at the edge of the bed (That, I think it’s at Ana’s place, when they get back together, is not something that is described in the book, but can be part of the plot)
  7. Jack the asshole appears, played by the very handsome Eric Johnson.
  8. The long-awaited Mrs. Robinson, Kim is just phenomenal.
  9. The arrival at the basement of Escala, which I can assume is when they find Ana’s car destroyed by Leila.
  10. When Christian shows Ana the research papers of his background of her.
  11. The accident in Tango Charlie.
  12. And of course one of the most shocking moments in the book, when Leila at Ana’s place.

I loved! Really! I’ve seen countless times, to observe every detail.

And I can’t wait for Valentine’s Day on 2017!

I hope you enjoy it!

I absolutely loved this novella! It was a beautiful way to follow up the main story’s epilogue. It was lovely, of the Legal Briefs Series Jake was my favorite character, he is charming, and handsome, and so in love with Chelsea, that everything he does is for the love of her. And those six kids, I mean they are the joy of the story. They complement the story in a beautiful way. I also loved the extra scene from Kennedy and Brant it was lovely to read how Kennedy helped Brant to get over his fears! Thank you Emma for this lovely gift. It was wonderful to read!

3.5.- SidebarredSidebarred (The Legal Briefs #3.5) by Emma Chase
There was a time when Jake Becker had it all together. He was controlled, driven, ruthless—in and out of the courtroom.
Then, six irresistible orphans and their heartbreakingly beautiful aunt crashed into his perfectly ordered life. They changed everything. They changed him. Now he’s a husband, an upstanding member of society, a father figure—a family man. And he’s pretty damn good at it.
Sure, he has to referee sibling smackdowns, re-learn algebra, ensure his clients stay of jail, and keep his wife happy—but it finally feels like he’s got it together again….
So, of course something has to screw it all up. It’s huge. Life-changing. Kind of terrifying.
And it will be the most amazing, perfect thing he’ll ever do.

I easily can describe this book as: a lovely story, funny and romantic. About Brent I can say he is sarcastic, charismatic. self-centered and wayyyy too narcissist. Kennedy is fierce, stunning and is a girl with a lot of attitude and personality. My favorite part of the book was the epilogue, wow! I loved it! It was beautiful the way it all ended. I loved the book, the capacity of Emma to write from a guy’s POV is f’ing brilliant!

3.- AppealedAppealed by (The Legal Briefs #3) by Emma Chase

When Brent Mason looks at Kennedy Randolph, he doesn’t see the awkward, sweet girl who grew up next door. He sees a self-assured, stunning woman…who wants to crush the most intimate – and prized – parts of his anatomy beneath the heels of her Christian Louboutins.
Brent has never let the loss of his leg in a childhood accident affect his ability to lead a fulfilling life. He sets high goals–and then he reaches them.
And now he has his sights set on Kennedy.
**
When Kennedy looks at Brent Mason, all she sees is the selfish, Abercrombie & Fitch catalogue-worthy teenager who humiliated her in high school to join the popular crowd. A crowd that made those years a living hell.
She’s not a lovesick social outcast anymore – she’s a DC prosecutor with a long winning streak behind her. Brent is the opposing attorney in her next case and she thinks it’s time to put him through a little hell of his own.
But things aren’t exactly working out that way.
Because every fiery exchange has her wondering if he’s as passionate in the bedroom as he is in the courtroom. Each argument and objection only makes him want her more. In the end, Brent and Kennedy may just find themselves in love…or in contempt of court.
